My wife and I often talk about how difficult it is

My wife and I often talk about how difficult it is running a business and how not everyone is built for this lifestyle.

I can honestly say that I didn’t know if I was built to own a business.

However, what I did know was that I am a passionate, caring, and committed individual who isn’t afraid to work hard and is determined to do their best in all they do.

CLEMCO.AV is my ministry and my mission. I pray that this business, this entity, continues to make an impact worthy of this recognition.

As I sit on my flight home listening to the Dreamland album by @alexisffrench , I rest in gratitude from the opportunity to work with you as we served your Client and our End Client.

This has been a top notch experience, and I often forget how much I love being a part of what we create.

It’s almost like the practice of Alchemy. When we turn perceived valueless empty spaces into beautiful invaluable moments, we turn Lead into Gold.

I thank God for the part I play in all of this. Shining light for all to see and spreading words of inspiration to help those traveling through dark times…

I can’t thank my brother, Donnie Crawford @djcrawfordjr, enough for the opportunity to share the “60/40 Split” Budgeting Practice with the students at his Broadcast Sports Camera Workshop.

Although I am still a work in progress, I am not afraid to share information that I know will positively affect someone else’s life.

What many Freelancers, Independent Contractors, and Entrepreneurs don’t realize is that 100% of the income they earn isn’t theirs…

60% is yours to spend, and 40% belongs to your future self.

- 25% is for Taxes,
- 10% is a cushion for when times are slow, and
- 5% , at a minimum, should be set aside for you retirement.

That 40% should be in a high interest yielding savings account.

I know from first hand experience this isn’t an easy practice to follow. However, the younger you start, the easier it is.

This is one of the reasons I pour into the youth.
